Getting ready for Tokyo! My first trunk show. I’m working on some bead bracelets, so I stopped by to talk to my bead boys at @beadsofparadisenyc. It turned into a poignant moment when the boys and I realized the journey of #charltonandlola started there. I took my first wire-wrapping and beading classes there in 2010. I’d stop by religiously, over the years, to browse the sea of beads and ask how to string and design. Joe taught me about stones, John how to combine beads with leather and Karma how to work metal wire without fire. I wear their creations every week, so do my friends and family. Life has gotten more hectic but nothing can take away from the beginning and the beautiful relationships that built a dream and a brand. Nothing big is done alone. Thank you guys. Feeling grateful and loved. (at Beads of Paradise NYC)
