When items are purchased from CHARLTON & LOLA, as part of the buying and selling process, personal information is collected such as the buyer's name, address and email address.

When the buyer browses the store, their computer’s Internet protocol (IP) address is also automatically received in order to provide information on the buyer's  browser and operating system. With the buyer's  permission, we may send emails about the store, new products and other updates.

How does the buyer give consent? 

When the buyer provides personal information to complete a transaction, verifies their credit card, places an order, arranges for a delivery or returns a purchase, it is implied that there is consent to the collecting of information and its use for that specific reason only. If personal information is required for a secondary reason, such as  marketing, we will either ask directly for the buyer's  expressed consent or provide the buyer  with an opportunity to say no.

How does the buyer withdraw their consent? 

After the buyer opts-in, if they change their mind, they may withdraw their consent at any time for us to contact them for the continued collection, use or disclosure of their information by contacting us at info@charltonandlola.com.
Disclosure - We may disclose the buyer's  personal information if we are required by law to do so or if the buyer  violates our Terms of Service.

Age of Consent

By using this site, the buyer represents that they are at least the age of majority in their state or province of residence, or that they have given minor dependents their consent to use our site.  

Changes to this Privacy Policy

CHARLTON & LOLA reserves the right to modify their privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify the buyer here that it has been updated so that the buyer is aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to the buyer.
